Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she was introduced to him in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. Then on June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to work on the show. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
