Srushti is preparing to take the UPSC exam in her third-year of engineering studies. She wondered if engineering was the best career choice for her. She realized later the dream job she wanted was in civil service and started to focus on it. Parents encouraged her to become civil servants and seek an employment in the public sector. Her motivation was to be an IAS officer and was focused towards that aim. To be able to pass UPSC to be successful, more hard work is needed. The student also studied for UPSC examinations while studying engineering. Every day, she set aside some time to prepare for the exam. She got ready for engineering tests in only one and a half months and avoided social life and all social media sites. She believes that being focused on the task at hand is key to passing the exam. She worked hard to ensure she passed the test in her first attempt. Her habit was to go through newspapers to stay up-to-date with current affairs every day. Rajya Sabha TV and online studies were also of great help to her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh authored a second book titled, The Answer Writing manual. Every library in the country has this book. This is a great book for anyone IAS hopefuls who are working hard for this test.
