Tessa Thompson
The actress Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on October 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. She is a daughter of Marc Anthony Thompson (a singer/songwriter) as well as the grandchild of Bobby Ramos, an actor/musician. Her birthplace was in Los Angeles and raised there before relocating to Brooklyn. Her mother is of Mexican and British Isles heritage, while her father is an Afro-Panamanian. Thompson was part of several productions while at Santa Monica High School. She was enrolled in Santa Monica College after graduation and was awarded a cultural Anthropology degree. She was a part of Juliet in the William Shakespeare play "Romeo and Juliet" in a play which was held at the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. The show's performance was a big hit and brought her an NAACP Theatre nomination the same year. Tessa began her television debut in 2005. She starred as an actress in the CBS Series.
